Meanwhile, the annual container throughput of the port has also excellent performance, exceeding 43 million standard boxes, and firmly occupying the third place among ports worldwide, achieving a qualitative leap and improvement in comprehensive operational capacity.

As of end of 2025, Ningbo-Zhoushan Port has 309 container routes, which are like a huge transportation network, closely connecting more 700 ports in more than 200 countries and regions around the world. Every day, the port welcomes and sees off nearly 300 ships, and port connectivity index ranks second in the world, demonstrating its strong position as an international logistics hub.

The sea-rail intermodal transport business of Ningbo-Zhhan Port is developing rapidly. At present, there are more than 110 sea-rail intermodal transport routes, covering a wide range and radiating to 69ecture-level cities in 16 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) across the country.
