According to Reuters, FedEx announced on Monday that it resumed services to and from Israel on June 27. The company had previously suspended all pickup services due to heightened flight safety risks in the Middle East.
Missile exchanges between Israel and Iran had forced airlines to cancel or reroute thousands of flights, leading to widespread airspace closures across the region.
FedEx also stated that, due to increased operational costs, it will impose a surcharge on all FedEx and TNT shipments from Israel to India, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa.
