June 1923 Research of block gauge was initiated at Honjo Ohira-cho in Tokyo March 1937 Tsugami Mfg., Co., Ltd was established in Nagaoka-shi, Niigata pref. Production of block gauge was started. June 1939 Production of L-type thread milling machine Model T-TML500 was started. Production of hydraulic cylindrical grinding machine Model T- UG300 was started. October 1942 Tsugami Precision Engineering Industry Co., Ltd .was established and the factory was constructed at Saku-shi. Tsugami Precision Engineering Industry Co., Ltd .was merged in February, 1945, and named as Shinshu Plant. June 1946 Production of grinding machine, thread rolling machine and sewing machines was started. Prohibition of machine tool production was announced. May 1949 Stock offering on Tokyo, Osaka and Niigata stock exchanges.
