STAR RAYS EDUCATION CENTRE GENERAL SUMMARY Star rays education center is a registered non –profit making centre established in 2002 . It aims to provide competent, relevant and accessible education to children, farmers and the community as a whole in its locality and beyond with the hope of making them self sufficient now and in future. Humbly started as a single kindergarten room in 2002, it has grown to incorporate more children, adults and organizations .It is situated between Eldoret and Kitale towns in Kenya, Lugari District. VISION “Improve our living standards through education” MISSION “Facilitate delivery of education, health and development to our community until we become self-reliant” MOTTO “Education is a life time gift” OFFERS -Early Childhood Education (ECD) -Primary School Education -Farmers training workshops -Supporting handicapped and orphaned children -Community awareness programmes A) CHILDREN EDUCATION PROGRAMMES We offer 8-4-4 day school system of education. This is run on a three semester a year curriculum as stipulated in the Kenya Government education programme. First semester January to March, Second semester May to July, Third semester September to November. In addition to creating a conducive learning environment for the children, we also ensure the fully participate in extra curriculum activities to enhance their multi application abilities. We also have a feeding programme to ensure the children are healthy and thus concentrate better.
