Saratoga Forwarding was founded in 1948. For 50 years the Saratoga name has stood for outstanding service and expert logistics management, working with firms conducting international import and/or export business with countries around the world. Today the firm employs a staff of 20 experienced transportation professionals. Saratoga prides itself with having one of turnover rates in the industry, thus providing its clients with managers who know their account's needs on a long-term basis. In 1988, Saratoga joined with eleven similar firms to form an international group of independently owned and operated Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders. Today that group, known as United Shipping, has grown to more than 250 offices worldwide. The group's size and international network provides it with the industry clout to leverage competitive rates on behalf of our clients. And what truly differentiates it from the multi-national firms is that in each territory, an owner-operator is overseeing the client's needs...as opposed to a transient regional staff such as the multi-nationals employ.
