Kuehne Nagel has announced its intention to acquire Eastway Global Forwarding Ltd., a leading player in the air and logistics sector.


The acquisition will complete Kuehne Nagel's air and space logistics business portfolio and will further strengthen its ability to achieve its growth ambitions in rapidly evolving aerospace industry.


Eastway, headquartered in Limerick, Ireland, is a family-owned company with a global network in 130 countries. It a trusted logistics provider to the aerospace industry, offering time-critical AOG services, aircraft engine logistics, air cargo and warehousing, as well as customs clearance services. addition, it provides full lifecycle services to the aircraft leasing industry, which operates more than 50% of the world's fleet, according to CAPA Global Market Ins. The aircraft leasing industry is expected to grow from $187.1bn in 2024 to $565.1bn in 203, representing a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 11.8%.


The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and satisfaction of customary closing. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2025. Upon completion of the transaction, Eastway will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kueh Nagel.
