On November 1st, a major maritime collision occurred in the waters about 15 kilometers off the coast of Vung Tau in southern. Two fishing boats collided with the cargo ship "Sea Noble", which was flying the flag of Panama, resulting in no fatalities.


At the time of accident, the two fishing boats had stopped to repair a malfunctioning throttle valve pipeline. The collision caused both fishing boats to sink, and all 11 crew members were forced jump into the sea and drift in the water.


Nearby fishing boats quickly responded, rescuing all the fishermen and subsequently transferring them to the Vietnamese border forces, safely brought them ashore that evening.


It is reported that the fishing boat crew had attempted to signal the nearby cargo ship but failed to avoid the collision.


F the accident, the "Sea Noble" cargo ship remained anchored near Thủ Dầu Một, awaiting investigation by the relevant authorities.
