It has been reported that a Liberian-flagged vessel, the "Navigator Global," caught fire while at the Port of Bregaaport in Libya.


The fire was quickly brought under control, and no injuries or pollution were reported as a result of the incident.


The blaze began in the of September 24th in the forward section of the vessel. Emergency teams responded swiftly, shutting down the upper engine of the ship during the firefighting process.


F, the fire was contained and did not spread to other parts of the vessel.


The relevant authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Company is responsible for addressing the potential consequences of this incident from a technical perspective.


The NAVIGATOR GLOBAL is a LPG gas tanker built by Hy Heavy Industries in Ulsan, South Korea, in October 2011, with an estimated age of around 14 years as of 2025
