Hapag-Lloyd Issues Rate Increase Notice Effective June 1

Hapag-Lloyd has announced a General Rate Increase (GRI) for services from Far East base ports to South America West Coast, Mexico, Central America, and Caribbean base ports, effective from June 1, 2025, and remaining in effect until further notice.

(For Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the GRI will take effect from June 26, 2025.)

Far East to Mexico West Coast:

40’ DRY: USD 3,100

40’ NOR: USD 2,500
