After completing the task the ship will be fully loaded with various supplies such as electrical and mechanical products, chemicals, and textiles, and directly head to the two major hub ports in Australia, Brisbane and. This milestone event marks the official opening of the first new foreign trade route for Qingdao Port in 2026.

The sequence of ports of call the new route is Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Brisbane, Sydney, and then back to Qingdao, successfully realizing the direct connection and communication between core ports and Australian hub ports. In terms of voyage time, it takes about 20 days to directly reach Brisbane from Qingdao and about 25 days to reach Sydney, significantly compressing the transportation time compared to traditional transshipment routes and providing a strong guarantee for the efficient transportation of goods.

At present, the total of foreign trade routes for Qingdao Port has approached 240, which are like a series of ties connecting more than 700 ports in more than 10 countries and regions around the world.
