CMA CGM recently held the naming ceremony for its new 15,000 TEU methanol dual-fuel containership, the CMA CGM EUGENIE.
The vessel is the second of six “Kun” class methanol dual-fuel driven containerships being built by China State Ship Corporation (CSSC) Jiangnan Shipyard for CMA CGM. The series’s first vessel, the CMA CGM ANTIGONE, was delivered on 12.
The CMA CGM EUGENIE is equipped with advanced dual-fuel technology and will operate in the Phoenician Express (BEX2) service, which connects Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean.
The ship marks another significant step by CMA CGM in strengthening regional interconnectivity and supporting global trade
