MSC Announces 2026 Far East Africa Freight Rate Increase

recently, the world's largest liner shipping company Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has issued a notice of freight rates for the Far East-Africa Three Countries in 2026.


The notice announces that as of January 1, 2026 (until further notice, but not exceeding January 15, 2026), the following new freight rates will be implemented for all ports in the Far East (including but not limited to ports in Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia) to Kenya, Tanzania, and Mozambique.
