COMPANY’S PROFILE Safeway Cargo Handling SVC. Inc. is a corporation registered under the Laws of the Republic of Liberia. We are involved in international freight forwarding, Cargo Handling, Stevedoring, warehousing and inland transport. Safeway has grown rapidly and is now a major player in its field of endeavor. The company’s operations are conducted out of the Business Incubator Plaza on Broad Street in Monrovia. It currently has a qualified staff of forty eight (48) fulltime employees and a number of contractual and casual laborers who are fully covered by an insurance policy on a yearly basis. We have trained and licensed customs brokers to process duty free application at the Ministry of Finance and all ports of entries, our senior staffs are also competent in engaging senior government officials and port management in the event of a major problem. We are trained and qualified by Lloyds of London in adjusting and following up on claims locally and internationally. We also have trained Forklift Operator, competent Warehouse Supervisor who can establish a stock-card system. Our offices are fully equipped with VHF radio communication linked with incoming vessels and our brokers on the field. Our senior staffs are linked with cellular phones, landlines and internet services to enable us track and trace shipment prior to its arrival and advise our clients accordingly.
