Recently, Rongcheng Customs, under the Qingdao Customs, seized a case of mixed smuggling of imported goods, more than ten types of smuggled items, including not only blind box dolls and high-end electronic products, but also weight-loss drugs, beauty injections, and electronic.


Mixed smuggling: Several types of smuggled goods found in one container


On the day, Rongcheng Customs officers were conducting a machine inspection imported goods containers, one of which showed an abnormal prompt. The consignment declared only 10 ordinary commodities such as "celebrity cards" and "picture albums," a declared quantity of 714 pieces, but the container image showed that there was something else inside.


Upon inventory, this case seized 2,43 Pop Mart dolls, 60 high-end graphics cards, 922 Apple phone screens and accessories, 112,474 chips, 32,20 weight-loss products, 5 types of hyaluronic acid 1,614 syringes, 8 types of botulinum toxin ,025 syringes, 100 kilograms of chicory, and 275 kilograms of old electronic products.


Deputy Section Chief the Inspection Department of Rongcheng Customs at the Shitiao Port Office: Items such as dolls, graphics cards, and mobile phones are taxable goods, weight- products and botulinum toxin require special permits to import, and old electronic products are prohibited from entering the country. Smugglers try to smuggle these goods into the through concealment to avoid paying taxes and customs supervision.
