Maersk announces the closure of its inland warehouse in Geneva
Logistics News
11-Nov-2025
Recently, Maersk has issued a notification: the Geneva inland warehouse business will be terminated, effective November 3, 202.
The warehouse will no longer accept cargo related to Maersk bookings, and affected customers have been informed of this change and the alternative options for their cargo.
This decision is part of Maersk's efforts to simplify its inland services in Switzerland and ensure that it can provide the best possible solutions for customers' supply chains. Mak will continue to provide services through its warehouses in Frenkendorf, Basel, and Birsfelden.
This business change may affect customers who use Geneva inland warehouse as a transshipment or storage node for their cargo, and it is recommended that businesses adjust their cargo flow, plan ahead for warehouse selection, or choose nearby locations in a timely manner.
