CMA CGM launches new direct services to strengthen its position as a leader in the Mediterranean region!

CMA CGM recently announced the launch of a new direct service from its owned Gemalink terminal in Vung Tau, Vietnam, its MEX1 line.


The first call of the MEX1 service in Vung Tau will be operated by the “CMA CGM JULES VNE”, voyage number 0MEM3W1MA, with the following schedule:


Vung Tau (ETA: October 27) – Valencia (: November 25) – Barcelona (ETA: November 28) – Fos (ETA: November 30) – Malta (ETA: December 5)

In addition, CMA CGM is strengthening its coverage in Cambodia by opening a fast barge service from Phnom Penh, providing competitive transit times to Vung Tau ensuring a seamless connection within its network.


With this new direct service offered in Vung Tau (VUT), CMA CGM is the only carrier to provide service to the Mediterranean region, further strengthening its leadership in the area.


Based on the barge connection between Phnom Penh and the CMA CGM terminal in V Tau, and combined with the MEX core loop vessels and strategic terminals in the Mediterranean (Valencia, Fos-Sur-Mer, Malta), it offers a service.
