On October 1st, in the Arabian Sea near the fort of Kochi in India, the cargo ship MSC Silver II collided the fishing vessel Prathyasha. The accident did not result in any injuries.

A nearby fishing boat alerted the cargo ship about the presence of another fishing boat in its. Despite the MSC Silver II reducing its speed, it still grazed the Prathyasha, causing several crew members to jump into the sea. All crew members were later to be safe and sound.
