Starting in October, MSC Mediterranean Shipping will launch a new direct route to the Middle East, with Abu Dhabi becoming the coreshipment hub. Ports in China such as Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, and Shekou are included in the port rotation.

The highlight the new route is its optimization for refrigerated cargo exported from South America to the Persian Gulf market. Whether it's perishables, food, or temperature-controlled goods, new route offers faster and more stable transportation services.

The transport lead time is also impressive: it takes only 33 days to arrive in Abu Dhabi; about38 days to reach the Port of Suweih; and about 39 days to reach the Port of Hamad.

The expected port rotation is as follows:

Buenos Aires – Rio Grande – Itajaí – Navegantes – Paranaguá – Santos – Rio de Janeiro – Vallis Bay – Abuhabi – Singapore – Qingdao – Busan – Ningbo – Shanghai – Shekou – Singapore – Colombo – Rio de Janeiro – Santos –anaguá – Itaqui – Itajaí – Buenos Aires.

For South American exporters and Middle Eastern importers, this means a further improvement the speed of supply chain response and more competitive intercontinental transportation.
