Ocean Network Express (ONE) has achieved a new milestone in the container shipping industry, with its vessel the “ONE Innovation” setting new record for the most TEU loaded, at 22,233.

The “ONE Innovation” is one of six 24,000U-class mega vessels in the ONE fleet, and is currently on its way to Felixstow from Singapore, via the FE4 service.

The “ONE Innovation” which was delivered in 2023, is the company’s first 24,000 TEU-class “Megamax” type vessel, built the Kure Shipyard of Japan Marine United Corporation. The 400-metre-long vessel has a maximum capacity of 24,136 TEU making it the largest in the ONE fleet.

The feat surpassed a previous record set by ONE in December 2023, when it achieved 22,00 TEU laden at the Port of Singapore, and before that, the ONE Integrity set a record of 21,954 loaded TEU in November 023.

The “ONE Innovation” is the first of six new Megamax vessels in the ONE fleet, and is part of the service on the FE3 from Asia to Europe, under the Premier Alliance (formerly THE Alliance).

ONE was formed in 2017, from the integration of the liner businesses of “” LINE, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and Nippon Yusen Kaisha, and is currently the world’s sixth largest container transport company with more than 260 vessels and around 2 million TEU of capacity.
