According to Alphaliner, CStar Line is set to launch a new service connecting China and the Red Sea, expanding its regional network with the introduction of the FRS1 loop.

The new service will operate twice a month and be supported by four vessels with capacities ranging from 1,600 to 2,000 TEUs.

The port rotation will include: Ningbo, Shanghai, Guangzhou (Nansha), Jeddah, Aqaba, Sokhna, and back to Ningbo. Some sailings may selectively omit Aqaba and Sokhna, depending on operational requirements.

This move strengthens connectivity between China and the Red Sea amid growing regional demand and reflects CStar’s ongoing strategy to build flexible, targeted trade lanes in underserved markets.

CStar Line is a container shipping company established within the past two years and is headquartered in Dubai. It focuses on services connecting Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Baltic Sea. The company was founded by former Maersk executive Zsolt Katona, who now serves as CEO. CStar’s leadership team brings extensive global shipping experience, speaks over 15 languages, and possesses strong cross-cultural operational capabilities.
