Recently, the highly anticipated JCtrans Club Logistics Industry Summit Forum and Annual Gala was grandly held.

Theme: "Crossing The World, Expanding New Horizons"

This summit forum and annual gala, themed "Crossing The World , Expanding New Horizons," gathered over 300 international freight forwarding elites, industry experts, and representatives from related supply chain sectors from both domestic and international communities. Among the attendees were international members from North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, as well as numerous top 100 domestic logistics companies and industry alliance organizations. Renowned experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs came together to discuss the future development trends and opportunities in the logistics industry.

Specially invited leaders from Zhongshan District of Dalian City and relevant departments, including the Port and Shipping Logistics Bureau and the Cultural Tourism Bureau, attended the event. During the activities, these departments delivered impressive presentations on port logistics and cultural tourism industries, providing participants with more opportunities to learn about and invest in Dalian.

Visits and Discussions

JCtrans Entrepreneurs Club organized site visits for some participating enterprises to JCtrans headquarters and several freight forwarding companies. Representatives from these companies engaged in in-depth exchanges about their respective innovations and development strategies in the logistics field. Many expressed that the event provided a valuable platform for industry communication and collaboration.

During the event, the JCtrans Entrepreneurs Club arranged a special seminar on the China-Africa Logistics Alliance, aiming to deepen industry exchanges and collaboration while exploring development opportunities and challenges in the China-Africa logistics sector.

Closed-Door Meetings

A closed-door meeting of the Entrepreneurs Club Management Committee was held, focusing on three key areas:

• How to achieve interconnectivity among eight major ports and collaborate in global trade.
• How the club can better empower its members.
• Self-management of risk prevention in business expansion and platform interaction.

Through in-depth discussions, the meeting outlined the club's future development direction, with hopes to work hand-in-hand with member enterprises to achieve new milestones in the logistics industry.

Simultaneously, small-scale domestic and international business exchange meetings tailored for club members were conducted. These meetings created efficient and intimate platforms for communication between members, facilitating deep business exchanges and opportunities for cooperation. Members were able to share their core business advantages and build trust and partnerships through face-to-face interactions.

• Gratitude for the trust and support of clients. The trust of clients and the support of partners are the cornerstones of JCtrans’ development. Without client trust and partner support, JCtrans would not be where it is today.

The Chairman then shared JCtrans’ business philosophy, which is deeply rooted in the core value of "trustworthiness."

JCtrans Club Secretary-General Thomas Shi expressed gratitude to the attendees and shared insights. In 14 months, the Entrepreneurs Club successfully completed the layout of eight major domestic ports and accelerated the establishment of overseas chapters. Looking ahead to 2025, the club will focus on the following key areas:

Special Presentations

Deputy Director Wang Jinguo of Zhongshan District’s Cultural Tourism Bureau introduced the district’s core strengths and abundant resources. As the cradle and core of Dalian, Zhongshan District integrates political, economic, cultural, and financial functions. It is a headquarters economy and a hub for ports, shipping, and commerce, with nearly 3,000 port logistics and related enterprises showcasing strong industrial agglomeration. Rich in cultural heritage, it features 88 immovable cultural relics, offering tourists a wealth of cultural exploration. Zhongshan District is also home to abundant tourism resources, including the national 5A-rated Laohutan Ocean Park, making it a prime destination to experience Dalian’s natural beauty.

In the future, Zhongshan District will accelerate the integration and innovation of cultural and tourism industries, guided by the themes of Northern Ocean, Central History, and Southern Wellness. Strategic Partnership Signing Ceremony

Following last year’s successful signing of strategic cooperation agreements with Worldex Logistics Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Hexi District Bureau of Commerce, JCtrans Entrepreneurs Club achieved another milestone—formalizing strategic cooperation framework agreements with the Japan International E-Commerce Association and the Sino-African Logistics Cooperation Platform.

Vice Chairman of the Japan International E-Commerce Association, Mr. Tian Guohui; Founding Chairman of the Sino-African Project Logistics Alliance, Mr. Yao Jun; and JCtrans’ Global Membership and Event Senior Vice President/Entrepreneurs Club Chairman, Crystal Zheng, took the stage to sign the agreements.
